If you can pick it out in the forest of green, this is a baby honeyberry bush. (It was my birthday present.) They arrived around the end of April, and now they’re happily in the ground. We ordered two varieties, and the other variety was a plant even smaller than this one!
Now all that’s left is to wait. And watch them grow. Derek and I go out and visit them periodically, and it’s always a pleasure to see them get used to their new environment and start thriving. Hopefully God will bless them and they’ll produce abundantly in the future.
I imagine I’ll grow a little too in the process of waiting for them — waiting is hard work!
